Merritt College Child Development Center

A new facility to support demonstration, lab program, instructional and administrative space for an educational program designed to support T-K/Pre-K children. A permanent structure will be built on the Merritt campus in a location that will allow for safe and efficient `direct auto access` for dropping off and picking up the children. The project will be funded with a blend of State and Local Measure G Bond Funds.

Merritt College Horticulture Building Replacement

This project replaces the existing horticulture facility. The existing large lecture rooms are no longer appropriate to the instructional program. As a result of this project, laboratory/lecture spaces will be configured to techniques and practices of horticulture today. The project will be funded with a blend of State and Local Measure G Bond Funds.

Merritt College Locker Room and Gym Renovation (Buildings E and F)

This renovation project will enhance the existing locker room and gym buildings to provide the types of open spaces adequately equipped and sized to respond to the specific needs of programs focused on wellness and fitness. The project will be funded with Local Measure G Bond Funds.

Infrastructure Improvements

 Civil Infrastructure projects generally include site improvements to each campus such as roads, pathways, parking, bike lanes, trails, ingress/egress access, and landscaping.  They may also include improvements to utility systems including sewer, power/electrical/renewable, water, security, and heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems.  These projects are being defined and will be posted here as they are approved to move forward.
